Steve Komphela has hailed the influence of striker Tshegofatso Mabasa, Gabadinho Mhango and Andile Jali as Moroka Swallows plot a return to the DStv Premiership's top four.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns coach came under some scrutiny at the start of the season over signing Mabasa on the back of an unsuccessful loan with Sekhukhune United, Mhango who had an underwhelming stay at AmaZulu and Jali who had been released by Sundowns.

However, the trio have been instrumental in forging a new-look Swallows under Komphela.
Mabasa has scored six goals from ten appearances across all competitions while Mhango has registered two in eight appearances and Jali has played in all eight matches he was available for selection.
Swallows sit sixth on the DStv Premiership log after eight matches and have picked up three wins from their last five. They are also juts one of five teams in the league that has managed to score double digits this season.

Speaking to the club's media ahead of Swallows' clash against TS Galaxy on Wednesday, Komphela gave credit to the trio.
"Also, I think we must be grateful and also be complimentary to our own team. Our players have done very well," Komphela said.
"We have Mabasa who has been doing extremely well, Mhango who has been a great influence, AJ (Andile Jali) who has been a great influence, a whole lot of them.

"Malinga is also coming back from injury. We are also welcoming very soon [Wandisile] Litlabika, so it's good to see the team coming together because our primary responsibility is to have points on the table.
"Having played eight matches at 14 points, we still there with he top six, we just need to make the two matches count. We pray that we hit the ground running."
The match against TS Galaxy will be played at Dobsonville Stadium. Kick-off is at 19:00.
