Stellenbosch head coach Steve Barker was delighted with how the new signings have integrated with the team after their win over Orlando Pirates.
Stellies secured a 1-0 over the Soweto giants win thanks to a late first-half goal from Antonio Van Wyk in their DStv Premiership opener.

The Western Cape side were resolute in defence, despite a new centre-back pairing of Olivier Toure and Thabo Moloisane, who were both making debuts for the club.
Barker complimented their defensive organisation, particularly Toure, who was voted Man of the Match.
"Great performance, great attitude shown, I thought defensively, tactically we were spot on. If you look, the real chance they had was when they hit the post. Otherwise we were dangerous on transition but ja, very proud of the effort," Barker told SuperSport TV.
"Toure was very good today, that's why we brought him, a real quality centre-back. We've got to trust, we brought the centre-backs in and we've got to give them the opportunities. Sometimes fortune favours the brave.
Barker added he was happy with the business Stellenbosch had done in the transfer market.
"It's important that we keep bringing some of the youngsters through, we had more changes this season but we're happy with all the signings that integrated really well," he said.
"And to start the season with a win at home against Pirates, it's just testimony of the hard work we've put in in pre-season."
