JUST IN: New home for Chiefs discard

Tebogo Potsane has finally completed his move back to his home province following his recent release by Kaizer Chiefs.

Potsane now joins Edmilson Dove in the list of players that have now found new clubs since being shown the door at Naturena.

The 31-year-old was released after Ranga Chivaviro, Sabelo Radebe, Mduduzi Mdantsane, Dove, Edson Castillo, and Bongani Sam.

The latter hasn’t found a new taker with his case worsened by the fact that he last played in December 2023.

Castillo has been linked with a move to Libyan club Asswehly.

Mdantsane and Radebe are weighing up their options, just like Chivaviro, who recently turned down an option of joining Iraqi Stars League club Al-Mosul SC.

Dove has since signed for Iraqi club Al Quwa Al Jawiya.

Potsane – who was the last out at the Glamour Boys – has finally put pen to paper at Siwelele FC after weeks of training.

He does so having only played eight games last season.

"NEW PLAYER ALERT.

"Tebogo Potsane is Green and White.

"Welcome home Taba Taba Ke Mmala," reads a statement from the club.
