With the backing of Gauteng Department of Sports, Arts, and Culture, the retired footballer will stage the Doctor Khumalo Gauteng Ultimate Champs tournament at Matador Ground in Dube on 17 March.
The 2023 Under-15, Under-17 and Under-19 soccer and netball champions will take on Gauteng Select Players teams on the day.
"Last year's winners will play against a select side chosen by coaches," the legend confirmed.
"We need a minimum of one or two players from each team.
"The winners take all, but the money doesn't go to coaches, it will be paid direct to players.
"We will have all the parents' contacts to see if they received it.
"The select players will have any coach chosen by the coaches and the same applies to netball," says the former Kaizer Chiefs superstar.
Khumalo adds that the main tournament will still take place in August as per norm.

"The reason we decided to have this tournament is because there is a gap between now and August and this void has to be closed and that's why we had this format and involved Gauteng government," he notes.
Meanwhile, Khumalo will conduct a coaching workshop before the tournament to empower the coaches with more knowledge of the game.
