Junior Phiri ready to join Sudanese team

Junior Phiri has attracted interest from Al Hilal and according to sources close to Baroka, the club is ready to accept a lucrative offer from the Sudanese league champions with the player potentially set to depart the country for Khartoum before the end of this week.

The former Bidvest Wits midfielder also confirmed the reported offer from Al Hilal and is waiting to receive the green light from Baroka before travelling to Sudan.

"I am still waiting for the club to accept it.

"I am sure in a day or two I'll be in a good position to confirm if I will be leaving for Sudan or not.
