Former Bafana Bafana defender Kgosi Ntlhe has extended his stay in England after penning a one-year extension with League Two side Barrow AFC.
Ntlhe, who joined the Bluebirds on a free transfer at the start of last season, is set to spend another year with the fourth division side after putting pen to paper on a new deal with the club last week.
The 27-year-old defender made 26 appearances during the 2020/21 campaign and revealed that he was looking to impress under new club manager Mark Cooper in the new season after securing his immediate future with the club.
"Last year I had a couple of injuries, but I finished the season feeling fit and I was pleased with my form and the team's form towards the end of the year, so I just want to build on that now," Ntlhe told the club's website.
"There were definitely plenty of ups and downs during my first season, but we reached our goals and now we have to use that as a platform.
"I've seen that the new manager has been bringing in some new players to make our squad stronger, so I am looking forward to meeting everyone and getting cracking with the new season now.
"I think there's a good feeling around the place with the new signings coming in and I definitely think we will be looking to compete next year."
Barrow and Ntlhe, who won a solitary cap for South Africa under Gordon Igesund in 2013, narrowly avoided relegation last season after ending in 21st position out of 24 teams in the League Two standings, five points above the drop zone.
