Nearly three months since completing a return to China, Ndlovu made his long-awaited debut for Super League side Changchun Yatai when he featured from the bench in the club's 4-1 season-opening win over Guangzhou City on Saturday.
The 32-year-old joined the club in April following a brief spell in Turkey with Kocaelispor but was made to wait for his debut after the commencement of the domestic league campaign was put on hold due to another outbreak of the coronavirus.
The season finally got underway this past weekend and Ndlovu was able to make an instant impact upon making his debut, registering an assist within five minutes of his introduction as a second-half substitute to help China international Tan Long complete his hat-trick.
