Crystal Palace and South African defender Nikola Tavares earns loan move

Tavares, 22, has been part of the Palace first-team over the past two seasons but has yet to make his official debut under manager Roy Hodgson.

After consistent displays in the Premier League 2 where he's captained their U-23 (reserve) team on several occasions, the former Hellenic talent has earned a move to gain first-team football experience in the National League.

Tavares who's capped for Croatia at U-20 level was called up to the preliminary Bafana Bafana squad for AFCON 2019 under former coach Stuart Baxter but failed to acquire the necessary paperwork to be included in the final squad.
