This week, the two parties were locked in a meeting in order to get Ntseki back in the national team as Hugo Broos' assistant.
According to the former Bafana Bafana head coach's manager, Thato Matuka, the negotiations ended as they couldn't agree on terms.
"So I wouldn't say anything went wrong, nothing went wrong. Ya we did not agree and we thought it's good time to part ways you know. We thought it's good to close the chapter and move on. So I want to emphasise nothing went wrong, we just didn't agree on what was offered, and we thank the association, and we moving on."
According to a reliable source, Ntseki turned down the job because what SAFA were offering him was less than the R4.2 Million they are supposed to give him for his sacking.
"No no no, I don't know anything about that, there's no such thing." Matuka says.
Offers from PSL clubs are said to be already flooding in for Ntseki's services.
"Ya look I've heard there are few clubs that are interested, we are yet to receive anything formal. But yes it's true I've heard that there are few clubs that are interested. And ya we are keen to get him a local club, and ya if there are any Federations that are interested, we are also keen. We are open to all those offers. And we we'll treat each offer with respect it deserves.
"I honestly want to thank the association, the president, the CEO, for the opportunity that they gave the coach over the years. We really appreciate it."
