David Notoane's charges crashed out of the tournament games following their third defeat against Mexico on Wednesday.
While they failed to win a single game at the Olympics, Nomvethe feels there are few players who should join up with the senior side.
"It will be the Bafana coach who decides which department he is looking to strengthen. There's lot of them who played well but I don't wanna be choosing. Even the forwards you could tell they can play. midfield, back-line the same. It's hard to choose. He can select maybe six or seven of these boys. But that said, they should not be put under pressure these boys. Once you play for the senior team it's a big stage."
Nomvethe who played in the Under 23 side that beat Brazil at the Sydney 2000 Olympics, believes the boys lost the tournament on the weekend against France when they allowed the Europeans to come from behind three times.
"It's football you know, something you cannot predict. They've tried you see but nothing came together. It became tough because they lost the first game, they lost the second one. It would have been better if they won at least once but even Mexico needed the win you know. Weekend game we should have won it. We could have gone to the second round but all the chances we got they were not used. We lost because of our mistakes.
"For my side they play their part, it's just that the tournament didn't love them."
