Broos, 69, was appointed as Molefi Ntseki's successor after the South African was relieved of his duties upon the team's failure to qualify for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
The Belgian coach, who lifted the 2017 AFCON with the Indomitable Lions, was roped in to prepare Bafana for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, which have since been postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
SAFA have now confirmed that a friendly fixture has been secured for the national team next month, as they face Uganda on June 10 but Broos is set to be in his homeland for his Covid-19 vaccination.
