It is all systems go as Bafana prepare to host the Black Stars at FNB Stadium this evening (18h00) with both sides tied on nine points in Group C.
A victory for either side will put them in pole position in the group going into the final round of fixtures this weekend, but more is expected of the hosts as they face a tougher test against Sudan, as compared to Ghana who take on Sao Tome and Principe, on Sunday.
Williams is has highlighted the targets the squad set before the campaign began back in 2019, and believes they are well on track to achieve the desired results.
"We know what's at stake. At the beginning of this journey, the coach asked us what we wanted to achieve, we said, 'We want to be number-one in the group'," Williams told the media.
"And that's the challenge we've put in front of ourselves, and so far so good. Another thing we said was that we want to win all our home games, and so far so good.
"We've got two out of two, and we want to keep that momentum going. So, going into the Ghana game, we want to keep that record in tact."
SAFA have confirmed that the match is set to be broadcast on SABC 3.
