The Black Stars will face South Africa in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers at 18h00 at FNB Stadium.
Like Bafana, Ghana will be without some of their top England-based talent like captain Andre Ayew, Crystal Palace striker Jordan Ayew and Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey due to Covid-19 restrictions.
"I think we can beat Ghana," Da Gama tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"Also Ghana, they have not got all the players they wanted you know. And I think it's the same for everybody. But it's about our technical approach and how we need to approach the game.
"Ghana isn't the same... even the Ayew brothers are not here. Apparently they've not been released, so there are players that have not been released for Ghana, and there are players that have not been released for our squad because of the Covid and South African situation.
"So it doesn't matter who the team is, it's how much that team wants to win. Simple as that. We stand a very strong chance of qualifying. I think we will qualify. I believe in coach Molefi Ntseki, I think he'll do well."
The match will be live on SABC.
