Tuks University of Pretoria register Sthembiso Ngcobo interest

The former Kaizer Chiefs frontman will be a free agent when his contract with Bidvest Wits expires at the end of this month.

The Students are yet to confirm if they are interested in retaining his services for next season.

“I like him. I worked with him when he was still at Free State Stars. My only worry is that he has not been playing regularly for the past few seasons,” Troughton tells snl24.com/kickoff.

“It will all depend on his salary if it is within our range,” he adds.

AmaTuks are looking for a striker to replace Geofrey Massa, who left the club to join Bloemfontein Celtic.

Ex-Bafana Bafana striker Katlego Mphela trained with the club yesterday but only for fitness reasons as he is looking for a move abroad.

The Tshwane-based club is also currently assessing an unnamed striker from Ghana.
