"It's always difficult to be sure that the message gets across, but as a club, we always set new targets," Mngqithi said.
"Our players know very well that we have our own benchmarks that we want to achieve or better.
"Last season, we registered 67 points, and one of the biggest margins was 71 points which we can no longer reach.
"But we can still go beyond the 67-point mark that we achieved last year, and that's what we aim to achieve.
"Our players know very well that we have to really work hard in making sure they respect this process because we all set this process together.
"It was not just the coaches who decided in making these decisions, but everybody has a sense of ownership in what we want to achieve."
Masandawana has four league encounters remaining this season including a clash against Kaizer Chiefs. The Yellow Nation could finish with a possible 70 points if they were to win all remaining matches.
