In this edition of Secret to Success, retired winger Thamsanqa 'Gusheshe' Tibe shares with KickOff the match that catapulted him to the top.
Tibe recounts how he used former Kaizer Chiefs left-back Bevan Fransman as a stepping stone to larger clubs.
"I was playing for a Castle League team, Bilikha All Stars from Giyani. We qualified for the Absa Cup last 32 and were drawn against Kaizer Chiefs. I had an outstanding performance against Bevan Fransman that day. More than anything else, I believe it was my talent and hard work that propelled me to success," he tells KickOff.

"I was at my peak, around 17 or 18 years old, during that Chiefs game, which took place in Giyani. I truly excelled in that match.
"Fransman was tasked with marking me, but I managed to draw him out of position. I constantly attacked Fransman, which caught the attention of scouts and club bosses in attendance to watch Kaizer Chiefs in Giyani.
"I played as a right winger that day, and our game plan was to exploit my pace and skill to continuously challenge Fransman.
"That is where both Black Leopards and Dynamos noticed me and expressed interest. There was also an offer from AmaZulu, but the move couldn't materialize,' he added.

"Ultimately, Black Leopards won the race to sign me, but I only joined them at the end of the season.
"And that's how I made it to the top."
