Orlando Pirates have been advised against any thoughts of entertaining a return for Jose Riveiro to the Soweto giants after the Spaniard parted ways with Al Ahly over the weekend.
Riveiro left Pirates before the end of his contract towards the conclusion of last season, after being lured by an irresistible offer from Egyptian giants Al Ahly.

However, following a record of one win, four draws and two losses, much to the dissatisfaction of the hard-to-please fanbase and management, he has since been let go, as announced on Sunday.
Meanwhile, after a shaky start, his successor at Bucs, Abdeslam Ouaddou, has the team progressing well, climbing up to fifth on the table after a victory over Chippa United at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Sunday.
"You know, if, for whatever reason, you decide to leave, and then suddenly resurface elsewhere, like coach Jose did... Remember that when he resigned, it wasn't announced that he was going to Al Ahly. We were told his family needed him at home," details James Mothibi, former Pirates striker.
"But then he went to Al Ahly, which I personally believe was a hasty decision on his part, considering he was still in the process of building his coaching career.
"Pirates have just replaced him with a new coach, and knowing the club, they always focus on what they have. Currently, they have coach Ouaddou, and both the players and the club seem to hold him in high regard.
"They have been patient with him. Pirates are in fifth place on the log, and we are in for an exciting season," he added.

Mothibi notes that bringing players together and making them combine seamlessly is a process that takes time.
"The Pirates coach is new, and there are also some new players who still need to adjust to his style and the team's philosophy, which all requires patience. Ouaddou is in the process of winning the league for Pirates."
Ouaddou has guidedthe side to the final of the MTN8 against Stellenbosch FC, set to be played at Mbombela Stadium on 13 September.
