REVEALED: The 2022/23 PSL fixtures released

Record 12-time champions Sundowns will get the new campaign underway when they travel to the Mother City on Friday, 5 August to do battle against last season's nearest rivals, Cape Town City at the Cape Town Stadium.

That fixture will be followed on Saturday when Orlando Pirates meet Soweto derby rivals Swallows FC and Kaizer Chiefs face Royal AM away from home in two of five fixtures on the day, with Golden Arrows to meet Richards Bay, Maurmo Gallants to host Stellenbosch FC and Maritzburg United to welcome Sekhunune United elsewhere.

The opening round of fixtures concludes with matches between TS Galaxy and AmaZulu and SuperSport United and Chippa United on Sunday, 7 August, before all sixteen teams head straight back into it the next week to continue a jam-packed month of football.

Meanwhile, the MTN 8 quarter-finals, originally scheduled for the weekend of 12/13 August, will now take place two weeks later on 27/28 August per the released fixture list.
