On the back of an impressive performance against Bafana Bafana in a recent friendly, Mozambique goalkeeper Ivane Urrubal has received interest from several PSL teams, KickOff can reveal.
Bafana needed second-half heroics from Sinoxolo Kwayiba and Ashley Cupido to see off Mozambique with a 2-0 scoreline at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium.
The home side may have gotten the bragging rights, with Kwayiba picking up the Man of the Match award, but Urrubal's efforts between the sticks did not go unnoticed.

That 21 shots flew in his direction, 11 of which were on target, to only concede two spoke volumes about the man in the firing line. The likes of Relebohile Mofokeng and Mohau Nkota, in particular, had brilliant first-half efforts saved.
Since then, this publication has had it confirmed that the shot-stopper could very soon ply his trade in the Betway Premiership, with multiple enquiries regarding his availability being fielded.
An insider privy to developments around the 28-year-old’s camp said he had also been inundated with phone calls since Urrubal's standout showing against Hugo Broos' men.
"It’s been like that since the [Bafana] match. His phone has not stopped ringing. Sometimes club officials, sometimes even agents, have been calling," the source said told KickOff.com.
Urrubal is as experienced as they come. He was part of the Mozambique squad at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast last year and CHAN 2023 in Algeria.

The Quelimane-born man is understood to be contracted to Uniao Desportiva de Songo until December.
A move to the PSL will see him follow in the footsteps of many, a list that includes Tico-Tico Bucuane, Elias Pelembe, Edmilson Dove, and Manuel Kambala, among others.
