snl24.com/kickoff has learnt that defender Thabo Matlaba will be leading the list of players who have been placed on the transfer list at Orlando Pirates.

Matlaba, who did not enjoy game time at Pirates last season, has been joined by likes of Diamond Thobola, Phetso Maphanga, Meshack Maphangule, Ntsikelelo Nyauza, Ayanda Nkosi, Justice Chabalala and Gladwin Shitolo.
Maphangula and Chabalala are set to go out on loan to either Chippa United or Bloemfontein Celtic, while Shitolo is set to move to the Chilli Boys permanently.

According to a source close to Pirates, striker Thamsanqa Gabuza is set to stay with the club next season.
Zakhele Lepasa, who was a start in the Nedbank Cup for National First Division side TS Galaxy, could be loaned out to a top flight so that he gets more experience.
"Gabuza is staying while Zakhele Lepasa is set to go out on loan to another PSL team to get game time and gain experience," he added.
Pirates have signed Fortune Makaringe and Siphesihle Ndlovu from Maritzburg United, while Kabelo Dlamini and Tshegofatso Mabaso look set to join from Bloemfontein Celtic.
The Buccaneers are determined to win some silverware after missing out on the title for a second consecutive season.
