Orlando Pirates chairman Khoza after Meyiwa passing confident in Mhlongo and Zikalala

The nation is in mourning following the fatal shooting of the Bafana Bafana and Pirates captain on Sunday, prompting the PSL to postpone the Soweto Derby in respect of the tragedy.

Bucs coach Vladimir Vermezovic will in time have to decide who will stand in goal when his team returns to competitive action, with Mhlongo, Zikalala and rookie Ntando Nkala his available options.

And Khoza has faith Meyiwa's displays and work ethic will rub off on his fellow glovemen.

“Senzo was forever working, whenever you find him he was working. So we are hoping that it is going to rub off to the some of the players,” Khoza said.

“We got a quality team, we got depth, nothing is impossible. Even a player who is supposed to take his jersey, I've got confidence in him that he will make us proud sooner than later.”
