"Top of my list is Black Leopards. I remember this one time we were set to play against Jomo Cosmos at Thohoyandou Stadium," Taaibos tells KickOff.
"That week, we started our camp early. Our chemical engineer was from Malawi. He was introduced to the team during camp, and then he began his work.
"The first thing he did was to ukubopha izol, but there was no dagga involved. It was something that resembled it.
"We all had to queue to take turns inhaling the smoke while shouting, 'Hhayi siyayishaya i Cosmos!'
"On Friday, the big Black Leopards bus came and took us to a veld. When we arrived, they brought out brand new blankets. There was a large hole that had already been dug, and we were made to sit inside it. The chemical engineer was already there.
"There was a fire burning, and a pot was boiling. We were all naked, with the brand new blankets provided for us to cover ourselves.
"The chemical engineer couldn't speak English or any other language. He had a translator who kept repeating, 'Hay siyayishaya i Cosmos! Hay siyayishaya i Cosmos!'
"After that, we came out of the hole and headed straight back to the hotel. On the morning of the match, the smoke session resumed.
"While the rest of us were still smoking, Kingston Nkhatha and all our strikers were taken aside for a separate exercise. From a distance, we could hear our strikers echoing, 'Siyayishaya i Cosmos,' repeating after the muti man.

"Come game-time, at the very same goalpost, our strikers, inspired by the muti man, scored four goals. We went into half-time leading 4-0.
"But there was one problem: by full-time, the score was 5-5. The muti man had forgotten to switch the muti to the other goalpost. He was supposed to remove it at half-time, and because he forgot, goals kept going in at the same goalpost."
