In this edition of My First, KickOff catches up with the hilarious Tintswalo Tshabalala as he shares some of the first experiences of his life.
The Retired Footballer holds nothing back as he reveals everything about his life.
My First School:
"Hitekani Primary School. My first day was great. I wasn't the type to cry, and even now, I'm not someone who cries easily. At every club I played for, I fitted in like a glove."
My First Kiss:
"There was this girl from my neighborhood named Masesi. She was stunning—more beautiful than beauty itself. Even today, when I see her around, she knows she still owes me, she once promised she'd make sure I'd be the father of her firstborn. We separated when she went to university. When she came back, she was no longer the same, which is how I lost my investment."
My First Child:
"I was still with Black Leopards when my first child was born. I was around 25 or 26 years old. I have three boys, I don't have a daughter."
My First Soccer Boots:
"It was the Puma Winger. They were the cheapest, and I was nine years old at the time. I felt like a star every time I wore them."
My First Red Card:
"That happened at Black Leopards. We were playing against Jomo Cosmos. That game was crucial because a win for Cosmos meant we were heading straight for relegation. I stamped on Katlego Loke. It was a silly thing to do because the poor guy was not a threat at the time. He hit me with a ball, and I retaliated. It was my first and my last red card."
My First Own Goal:
"I have never scored one."
My First Individual Award:
"It was the Most Improved Player award at Platinum Stars."
My First Goal:
"I scored a few, but to be honest, I can't remember my very first one. Remember, I only used to score the important ones."
My First Trophy With A Club:
"I won the MTN8 with Platinum Stars."
My First Car:
"My first car was a Golf 6. I was initially looking for a Golf 5, which is my favorite, but I had to switch to the Golf 6 when I couldn't find one. I love spoiling myself."
My First Signing On Fee:
"That was at Platinum Stars, and it was R250,000."
