Menzi Ndwandwe, Pule Mmodi, Celimpilo Ngema to sign for Bloemfontein Celtic, AmaZulu, Chippa United PSL transfer news

GladAfrica Championship side Uthongathi FC have revealed that three more of their star players will be joining three different PSL teams next season.

After impressive displays in the 2019/20 season, defenders Njabulo Ngcobo and Cheslyn Jampies have already left the KwaZulu-Natal side for Swallows FC and Baroka FC respectively.

Bloemfontein Celtic, Chippa United and AmaZulu have now come in for three more of The Cane Cutters' top stars ahead of the 2020/21 season.

Menzi Ndwandwe, Pule Mmodi and Celimpilo Ngema have been heavily linked with a move to the top-flight with Golden Arrows and Maritzburg United believed to have been chasing them.

However, it has now been confirmed by club official Nkosinathi Chili that none of those teams have won the race for their signatures.

"We've lost so many players this season including our captain, some [like Ngcobo] have already been confirmed by clubs," Chili tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"Menzi Ndwandwe won't be with us anymore, we are told he will be joining Bloemfontein Celtic. Pule Mmodi who came from our development has also joined another team, which we are hearing is AmaZulu FC."

Chili also confirms that Celimpilo Ngema, who is known as 'Zidane', will be moving to Eastern Cape as they are busy sorting out a deal with The Chilli Boys.

"We are also finalising our deal with Chippa United about Celimpilo Ngema," Chili adds. "He has left our training session, same as other players who are leaving."
