Marks Munyai says he is ready to deal with whatever challenges he might come across on his first return to Thohoyandou Stadium today.
Munyai's new team Highlands Park face his old team Black Leopards in a mouth-watering Absa Premiership encounter.
It's no secret that the 28-year-old right-back's signing of a pre-contract with the Lions of the North last season did not go down well with his former bosses.
"I feel happy to go and be at home. To be honest it's not going to be easy, we are expecting a tough game," Munyai tells snl24.com/kickoff.
'Skhindi sengane' as the player is affectionately known says even though he will not celebrate if he happens to score against his former team, he will still be targeting all three points.
"No I won't [celebrate]. Since I started soccer I was playing to make my team win, which I will be doing here at Highlands Park. I would like to get three points of course."

Born in the Masakona Village in Venda, Munyai says he is not even thinking about the kind of welcome he will get in his home province.
"You know people of Venda I don't think they are going to treat me [badly)]... they are going to welcome me in a good way. Even though it's not all of them but that's the thing I must not put in my mind man. It's not even in my mind, I don't even think about how are they going to treat me or how are they going to welcome me," he insists.
"The most important thing is what I'm going to do there. So I'm just focusing on what I'm supposed to do once I get there. I'm going there to play football, to do what I was born to do, then that's it. And help my team to win. That's what matters now."
Munyai refuses to compare the two teams.
"To be honest I'm not going to compare teams really, what I can say is I'm happy here at Highlands Park. The guys here have welcomed me very well. Actually I'm feeling like I'm home already, I just have to focus and work hard, and make sure that I'm helping the team to achieve what they want to achieve."

Munyai describes the treatment he received from the club after signing a pre-contract with his current team.
"It was not that bad because I played some of the games, the only thing they did was to take the captain's armband. But I knew it was about the pre-contract."
What about his relationship with Lidoda Duvha chairman David Thidiela?
"No comment."
