Segolela, known for his speed on the football pitch, has been struggling for game-time this season and missed out on a loan move to Mpumalanga Black Aces, which broke down at the last minute. 'Sox' also missed the recent MTN8 Final against Kaizer Chiefs as he watched the game from the stands.
Lekgwathi tells snl24.com/kickoff that Segolela has joined him for extra training and remains positive of getting his chance very soon.

"I always speak to the boy and encourage him. I am doing extra training at Virgin Active and invited him last week. He showed up for the whole of last week," reveals Lekgwathi.
"There are also Pirates supporters there that always motivate him and he is working hard. He is a good player. I have told him to keep working hard, he will get his chance soon."
