Leon Manyisa training with Highlands Park, set to sign for PSL club before Real Madrid trial

Promising Eswatini playmaker Leon Manyisa is set to sign with an Absa Premiership side as he awaits another trial period at Real Madrid.

This website has been reliably informed that the 18-year-old playmaker, who trained with Real Madrid a few weeks ago, has arrived in Gauteng to start training with Highlands Park.

Manyisa is aiming to join a PSL team as he looks to build up his profile, with his eyes still set on another trial with Spanish giants once his visa issues are sorted out.

"Manyisa has chosen Highlands Park over five teams in Gauteng," a close source reveals to snl24.com/kickoff.

"He is going back soon to Madrid, he only needs a team were they can monitor him because in Swaziland there is no data on players."

His agent Ratshibvuma Mulovdedzi confirms that the player touched down in South Africa on Monday, but did not want to say whether he will sign or not.

"Yes, Manyisa arrived at Highlands Park on Monday. He's training with them but nothing has been agreed as yet," he adds.

Former Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper William Shongwe was also involved in helping to bring the player to the country from his native Eswatini.
