The trip which included a few friendly matches was cancelled due to 'logistical problems'.
Instead Amakhosi will now have their camp in Potchefstroom before resuming their League campaign on February 13 against Mamelodi Sundowns.
A statement on the Chiefs website reads: “The visit to The Mountain Kingdom was scheduled to take place as part of the club's preparations for the restart of the 2012/13 season. It came to the club's attention that some logistical aspects pertaining to the trip will not allow for the full accomplishment of the mission.
"The Club apologised profusely for any inconvenience caused. We are aware that the supporters were looking forward to welcome us and hence we will look at future possibilities to land in Maseru."
