Revoredo appears to have won the hearts of club bosses since arriving in the country in 2007 to work as a goalkeeper coach when Julio Leal was in charge at AmaZulu.
Besides four years spent at Pirates the Brazilian has also spent time at Golden Arrows and with the national team.
He now has another task of training the keepers at Chiefs where he will lead a department that had club legend Brian Baloyi in charge last season. Baloyi will remain involved at the club.
“I am very happy of the Kaizer Chiefs and I am coming here to work hard. I will not talk too much but just work, working is all I will do. For me it is work first,” says Revoredo.
The 56-year-old will work with Itumeleng Khune, Brilliant Khuzwayo, Luthando Sixhaso plus another goalkeeper who will be promoted from the club’s development structures.
Fellow Brazilian Marco Munchoz will work as a fitness trainer.
Munchoz previously worked with Komphela when the two were at Maritzburg United.
