Kaizer Chiefs' DStv Diski Challenge coach Vela Khumalo has singled Mfundo Vilakazi out for praise following the 15-year-old's goalscoring debut.
In his first appearance since joining the club earlier this month, former Doornkop Students youngster Vilakazi marked his debut for Kaizer Chiefs' reserves by scoring a late goal in Sunday's win over Chippa United's reserves in Gqeberha.
The 15-year-old showed good anticipation to tap into an empty net to round off a comprehensive 4-1 win for Vela Khumalo's side, who have now scored four goals in three consecutive matches in the DStv Diski Challenge.

Despite the result, Khumalo was demanding of more from his ever-improving group of youngsters, although he did single out Vilakazi's goal as one of the highlights from the match at the Wolfson Stadium.
"It was a good game, although we did not play according to our style of play," he told Chiefs' website. "We got the result and continued scoring. It's still a work in progress," coach Khumalo reflected after the game.
"One of the highlights of the game was 15-year-old Vilakazi scoring the goal at the end of the game. Another highlight of the game was us also getting our defending on point. We defended properly today."
Vilakazi officially joined Chiefs on 14 January after impressing for Doornkop Students at the televised Philly's Games tournament in Tembisa, Gauteng, earlier this month.
