Boitumelo Radiopane: Playing for Orlando Pirates is special

Radiopane (18) made his unofficial debut for the Buccaneers earlier this month when he featured as a late substitute during the club's Carling Black Label defeat to rivals Kaizer Chiefs.

The highly-rated forward, who is a product of the School of Excellence and a South Africa youth international, earned the opportunity as a reward for his impressive form in the DStv Diski Challenge competition last season.

"The welcome was warm, it was fantastic. I literally couldn't have asked for more," he told PiratesTV earlier this week.

"Here in the first team, there are guys who have a lot of experience, so, for me, with the [reserves] and the first team, it's all about [getting that] experience. Obviously, as an individual, I want to achieve more and more and more...

"Being in this team is something special but I am hoping to gain more experience with the guys and with my focus and determination, I think everything is possible."
