Kaizer Chiefs football manager Bobby Motaung has provided an update with regards to where the club currently stands with their plans to return to training.
Cape Town City on Thursday became the first club to confirm their return to the pitch, after obtaining the green light from the PSL, following a three-and-a-half-month football suspension.

Plans to get the 2019/20 season back underway and completed had last week been approved by government, with clubs now having to ensure their compliance before being granted permission by the League to return for group sessions at their respective training bases.
Chiefs, who currently sit top of the Absa Premiership standings, will be hoping to get the ball rolling as soon as possble in order to maintain their advantage and finish off what has been an incredible turnaround from last season's ninth-place finish.
However, coach Ernst Middendorp will have to wait a little while longer before he can dust off his training whistle and stopwatch, as Motaung says the club is in the process of filing their Covid-19 compliance documentation and will await the PSL's approval thereof.

"There are certain submissions you have to make first. Once you've submitted all the stuff and it gets approved, then you can start training thoroughly again," Motaung tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"We have filed the documents, and then we will be told [when] to start [training]."
Amakhosi earlier confirmed that two players tested positive for the coronavirus during the first round of testing a fortnight ago.
