Baroka sign Decide Chauke from TS Sporting

The Limpopo club have signed Decide Akana Chauke on a three-year deal but the player will only meet his teammates when they report back for pre-season later this month.

Baroka finished 10th on the DStv Premiership table this past season and will be hoping to improve on their tally of 34 points and only 28 goals scored.

Bakgaga have since turned to Chauke, who netted eight times in 29 appearances for TS Sporting in the GladAfrica Championship in 2020/21.

"We have signed Decide Chauke," an excited Mphahlele tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"At least this time, my friend Thobela [Slungu, Sporting chairman] agreed to let the boy come and join us. I'm very excited about him joining us. We believe he will help us when it comes to goals, because he's got goals in his legs."

The 25-year-old forward also netted one goal in three Nedbank Cup appearances this term before Sporting were knocked out in the round of 16 by league rivals Richards Bay FC.
