Abram Sello explains Masala Mulaudzi R10-million dispute

SoccerLaduma recently reported that Mulaudzi had served Sello with court papers asking for his club back after monies owed were not paid.

Sello, who is believed to have paid R30-million for the club, reportedly owes Mulaudzi the remaining R10 million, which was needed to be paid in seven days of delivery of the court order, or return the club to its previous owner.

"No, it's just talk that. Everything is still okay, everything is still in order," Sello assures snl24.com/kickoff.

"You could see the launching [of the new club logo and name]. Our change of name [from TTM to Marumo Gallants FC] went through. So far we are on good terms with Mr Mulaudzi. Nothing is wrong, everything is going well."

Asked if it was true that he did not complete the payment of the original sale agreement and still owes Mulaudzi R10 Million, Sello said: "It's not necessarily a shortage.

"Remember, there were cases [contractual disputes] which are still outstanding that need to be finished there. So, they estimate [the R10 million] from those cases.

"The Oupa Manyisa's, Buhle Mkhwanazi's and all that. They are taking from those backgrounds and then starts estimating from there. But I can't say anything because they are not in my hands, it's in the legal hands and the [PSL] DRC are dealing with them.

"So, they are talking from those values. As long as the seller and the buyer are in good terms, whatever comes they will sort it out in a rightful way. You can't pay [Manyisa and Mkhwanazi] until the DRC decides.

"Remember, he may win the case, he may lose the case. If there is a judgment of R5, then I will say, 'No, I'm owing R5'. But if there is no judgment or conclusion of the case, you can't say to someone 'You are owing me a million rand or something.'"
