An Orlando Pirates player came to the rescue of head coach Jose Riveiro following a crisis at the club.
Following the departure of Thembinkosi Lorch from Pirates, it emerged in a club's documentary series, titled The Changeroom, that there was a bitter personality clash between two prominent stars, where players revealed previously unknown secrets.

It came out from the doccie that there was a group seemingly happy to see Lorch being sold to Mamelodi Sundowns as he allegedly caused division in the camp, being the leader of a clique that was against and had a feud with Hotto for playing all the matches and not even being substituted.
At the time, the Namibian revealed that his differences with the midfielder were due to Riveiro playing him in almost all positions and in all the games.
"The coach was playing me in different positions and for me, I wasn't selecting myself. If the coach asked me to play centre-back, I will ask him, 'Why am I playing centre-back today coach?'" Hotto admitted in the documentary.
"So, the conflict came when the coach [Riveiro] was playing me as a striker, right wing, left-back, left-wing. So, I heard among the guys that the guys are complaining, 'Why is Hotto not getting substituted? Why is Hotto playing all the games?'"
With Bucs in a right-back crisis, the injury to Deano Van Rooyen just before the half-hour mark in a 2-1 win over AmaZulu FC last Friday saw the Spaniard turn to his trusted soldier, Hotto, to play at right-back.
Paseka Mako, who initially made the revelations in the documentary, replaced Van Rooyen and was instead assigned at left-back.
Pirates currently have all their right-backs out injured (prior to Tuesday encounter against TS Galaxy).
Thabiso Lebitso and Bandile Shandu have also been out with long-term injuries, while Thabiso Monyane also seemingly joined his competitors on the treatment table as he has not featured since playing in the MTN8 final against Stellenbosch FC.
