Just 24 hours after tickets for the MTN8 final between Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch FC went on sale, the PSL has issued a major update with thousands of fans expected to flock to Mpumalanga.
The PSL has confirmed that tickets for the highly anticipated encounter pencilled in for 13 September have officially sold out.
The tickets had only gone on sale on Monday at 10:00 for the 43,500 capacity venue that also hosted the 2023/24 Nedbank Cup Final in June 2024.
The fixtures between Pirates and Stellenbosch will be a repeat of last year's edition, which took place at Mabhida Stadium as the Soweto giants ran out 3-1 winners.
They now now won it a record-setting three times, while Steve Barker's men are chasing their first.

Furthermore, Bucs will enjoy home advantage, giving them priority on which dressing room to use, the kit to wear and bench to sit on come matchday, among other factors.
Pirates will be inspired by memories of the final they played in Mbombela, in the Nedbank Cup, which they won 2-1 against Mamelodi Sundowns.
