Orlando Pirates teenage forward Mohau Nkota has thanked Diski Challenge coach Joseph Makhanya after his brace inspired the Buccaneers to a 2-1 win over AmaZulu in the Betway Premiership.
Nkota opened the scoring for Jose Riveiro's charges on the half-hour mark, after he found himself with space on the edge of the box from his turn and unleashed a rocket strike that found the top corner at the near post.
The 19-year-old made it 2-0 for Pirates and completed his brace six minutes later, this time with a composed low finish in the box after he was again left unmarked from a square pass by Relebohile Mofokeng, who raced through on goal.

After he was named the Man of the Match, Nkota thanked the coaches who brought him up in the development ranks and the Diski Challenge
"I'd like to thank the man above, I hope there's more coming, the coach gave me the opportunity and I proved that again," Nkota said on SuperSport TV.
"I'd like to say thank you to coach Dukuduku [Makhanya] for the process and what he has done for me. Also and also the manager for the DDC, thank you for what you have done for us and coach Riveiro for giving me an opportunity
Although Mofokeng got his breakthrough much earlier in the first team, his combination with Nkota comes naturally, as they are of the same age and came through the ranks together.
"Playing with Rele it's our combination, both of us the youngsters, it's in the blood," Nkota added.
