An Orlando Pirates legend has put forward the suggestion of Relebohile Mofokeng starting matches on the bench due to recent performances.
Having missed the prior match against Orbit College FC due to a minor injury, Mofokeng came on in the final 15 minutes against Chippa United at the Nelson Bay Stadium on Sunday and delivered a fair performance.

So far this season, the tricky winger is yet to score or provide an assist from his seven appearances made, and Bafana Bafana head coach has challenged him to return to his best form sooner rather than later.
He is in the national team squad set to take on Lesotho and Nigeria in key 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers at Toyota Stadium on 5 and 9 September respectively.
"I have noticed that Rele’s performance has been declining. There is clearly something on his mind," notes Steve Lekoelea, speaking to KickOff.com.
"When it comes to talent, he has it in abundance. He just needs to be mentally strong, and then we will see the old Rele again.
"The coach has been playing him in various positions because he is an all-round player. He is still young, and as a big club, we shouldn't place too much pressure or have unrealistic expectations for such a young player.

"I have also observed that his performance has dipped. He seems too casual during matches. These things happen – a player might be considering opportunities elsewhere. However, I trust him. He's a good player, and I believe he will bounce back.
“Most importantly, he still has a place in the Pirates line-up. He just needs to stay focused, that's all," adds the former fan-favourite.
