Jose Riveiro’s last cup final at Orlando Pirates will be played with only two players having been able to feature in all the previous five played by the club under the Spaniard.
Pirates have Kaizer Chiefs as their opponents this year at Moses Mabhida Stadium (15:30) as they seek to complete three wins in a row, like they have done in the MTN8.

The Buccaneers will be in their sixth cup final under Riveiro and will do so with Deon Hotto and Nkosinathi Sibisi having played all the previous five.
Hotto and Sibisi started the 3-1 MTN8 final win over Stellenbosch FC last October with the pair not substituted until the end of the match.
For last year’s 2-1 win over Mamelodi Sundowns in the Nedbank Cup final, Hotto played from start to finish, while Sibisi came on for Thabiso Sesane.
The Namibian also lasted the full distance in the MTN8 final earlier in the season against Sundowns, while Sibisi started but was then forced early due to injury.
Then, in Riveiro’s first season, both Hotto and Sibisi started as Pirates overcame AmaZulu FC in the MTN8 final.
Unfortunately for Sibisi, he again went out early due to injury.
For the 2023 final of the Nedbank Cup against Sekhukhune United, Sibisi put in a full shift, while Hotto was only introduced late in the match.

The two didn’t play in the midweek win over Golden Arrows but are expected to start on Saturday.
Sibisi was serving a two-match suspension after being sent off against Sekhukhune, while Hotto was rested and ended the Arrows game as an unused substitute.
