Orlando Pirates have offered clarity on the situation of midfielder Karim Kimvuidi, who resurfaced at Israeli outfit FC Ashdod recently.
There was confusion all round when Kimviid appeared for Israeli side Ashdod in their 2-0 defeat to Hapoel Tel Aviv FC earlier this week.

Neither Pirates nor Ashdod had issued a statement on the DR Congo midfielder, who had struggled for game time since joining Pirates in 2023.
Pirates have since confirmed that the 24-year-old is on a season-long loan, which includes an option to buy at the end of the season.
Kimvuidi made 37 appearances for the Buccaneers, contributing three goals and one assist. Ultimately, he found playing time hard to come by under former head coach Jose Riveiro, starting just two matches last season.

The loan move may present a fresh start for a player beaming with potential. Meanwhile Pirates are having troubles of their own, after suffering two consecutive defeats in their first two matches.
New head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou will look to steady the ship when his side welcomes Mamelodi Sundowns to Orlando Stadium in the quarter-final of the MTN8.
The match will be played on Saturday.
Kick off is scheduled for 15:00
