Arsenal icon Ian Wright has revealed how former Orlando Pirates captain Happy Jele turned him into a life-long supporter of the Buccaneers.
Wright has not been shy to show his loyalty the Sea Robbers, often sharing photographs of himself in Buccaneer gear on his social media platforms.
However, in a recent interview with SuperSportTV, the 59-year-old reveals how he came to be a life-long fan of the Soweto club.

"I am a Buccaneer! I remember when I was with Happy Jele, Happy man, he's the one who made me say, 'I am supporting you, Happy!'" Wright explained.

Pirates are fresh off a crucial Nedbank Cup semi-final win against rivals win arch rivals Kaizer Chiefs played at a sold-out FNB Stadium last Saturday.
"I saw the game [against ]. I saw the highlights of the game, it was a great game. For me, I am a Pirates fan, I am with Pirates forever,. I know there are some people that won't be happy," added Wright.

Having already collected their first trophy in the MTN8, Pirates could lift their second later this month when they take on Sekhukhune United in the final of the Nedbank Cup on 27 May.
But Before that, the two teams will go head-to-head in a DStv Premiership clash on Saturday at Orlando Stadium.
Kick-off is at 15:00.
