There was neither Monnapule Saleng nor Patrick Maswanganyi on the field and the beauty is that it didn't show at all with teenage sensation Mohau Nkota getting the job done on the wing, while Kabelo Dlamini did the central creativity work.

Deano Van Rooyen remains out with a muscle issue, just like Miguel Timm, who is yet to play in the league this season due to an ankle discomfort.
Another eight players contracted to the club remain out due to injury issue and, as they trickle back, will provide further answers to the questions about Pirates' depth with the group stage of the Champions League starting in November.
Bandile Shandu will be available as a right-back option having made steady progress from the injury that has kept him out since last November's Soweto Derby.
Thabiso Lebitso will be another right-back option once available.
Switching to centre-back, Tapelo Xoki is yet to play this season despite having already been cleared to return to full training for the past fortnight.
The towering Sandile Mthethwa has never been a regular at Pirates throughout all his time at the club but will give another solid back-up option at centre-back once fit.
The biggest absence at the back has been Olisa Ndah, but the side have already found ways to move on without feeling the weight of the Nigerian's absence.
Goodman Mosele carries so much in his central midfield play that he should come effective once available for selection – which will probably be in the New Year.

Up front, Zakhele Lepasa's power and precision play will be an added weapon as the campaign moves on.
Lepasa will absorb the top man responsibilities that are currently being carried by Evidence Makgopa and Tshegofatso Mabasa.
Boitumelo Radiopane must stand up and be counted this season and for that to happen needs to stay fit.
