Chiefs, having overcome minnows Tornado FC in Mdantsane in their opening round clash last month, were again drawn away to another ABC Motsepe League outfit in the next round.
The Magic traditionally play their league games at the Old Mutual Sports Ground in Pinelands, but understandably had to find an alternative venue to accommodate the magnitude of this fixture.
Failure to secure another suitable venue in the Mother City, they have since confirmed a switch to Port Elizabeth's Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
"Due to unforeseen circumstances, our Nedbank Cup Round of 16 home fixture against Kaizer Chiefs has been moved to the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth," read a statement from the club on Thursday.
"The main reason for the move is that there were no stadiums available to be booked for a match of this magnitude in Cape Town on the weekend in question.
"We would also like to make it clear that SAFA and PSL went out of their way to try and accommodate us to make sure that this fixture could be staged in the Mother City."
The fixture is set to take place next weekend, with an exact date and time yet to be confirmed.
