Mashaba, who has been coaching the Ke Yona team since the beginning of the development initiative, is responsible for unearthing football gems such as Aubrey Modiba of SuperSport United.
It's not yet clear whether the former Bafana Bafana and under-23 mentor will continue working with Nedbank this season as he has a three-year deal with National First Division strugglers Spurs.
"I'm not going to comment about it," Mashaba tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"It's Nedbank who gives people contracts, talk to Nedbank and then we leave it at that. I don't want to talk things and pre-empt the plans of other people.
"Talk to them, they will give you a full of what you call of how they run this project. It will be good when we get it from the horse's mouth."
Extensive efforts to get hold of Tutu Ntuli, the sponsorship manager for football properties at Nedbank, proved futile.
