Bonginkosi Makume and Matome Kgoetyane returned for the hosts, who looked to follow up last weekend's win as Leopards brought in Thobani Mncwango up front.
It was Leopards with the first sight at goal after Edwin Gyimah produced Elvis Chipezeze to a smart save off a header two minutes in, before Bakgaga Ba Ga Mphahlele responded minutes thereafter with a dangerously looking rasping strike from outside the area by Goodman Mosele.
Tshediso Patjie almost had the hosts ahead from a free-kick outside the area after 20 minutes, but the effort hit the side-netting of Rotshidzwa Muleka's goal.
Bakgaga threw caution to the wind as soon as the second half commenced, with Richard Mbulu replacing Kgoetyane after the first spell finished goalless.
Mncwango, who had a penalty appeal turned down earlier, was given a clear chance from the far side minutes later, but instead of shooting opted to cross much to Alan Clark's frustration.
Good work from Thabo Matlaba down the right opened up the hosts with a pass to Mwape Musonda, who had his effort from -six-yards out - parried away by Chipezeze in the 56th minute.
Baroka had a golden chance to go ahead from the penalty spot with 10 minutes left following a shove in the area, however Gerald Phiri Junior's spot-kick was tipped wide by Muleka.
Minutes later, Joseph Douhadji came to Baroka aid when he converted a low cross from the right into his own net past a helpless Muleka whilst attempting a clearance.
Lidoda Duvha expectantly pushed for an equaliser to send the match into extra time, but 1-0 was enough to grant Bakgaga a semi-final ticket.
