Mhango was named Man of the Match after Wits beat Chiefs 2-1 in their league opener on August 23. After the game Hunt said Mhango is more dangerous out wide as he tends to drift to the flanks when deployed centrally.
The Malawian maintains he is happy to play wherever Hunt deems fit.
"As a player I will play any position the coach requires me to play," Mhango tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"So I don't mind playing in any position and I'm enjoying playing any position the coach tells me. But everything is good and I'm loving it here. Our coach is not demanding but is just pushing players to do well."
The Students next face Cape Town City in the first leg of the MTN8 semi-finals at Bidvest Stadium on Saturday night (20h15).
Mhango says his team must forget about their wins over Chiefs and Orlando Pirates in the league.
"For me the last two games are in the past now and we have to focus on the game in front of us. We just need to continue where we stopped and we need to get another win again under our belt.
"Also, we we need to keep encouraging each other and stay in that pattern so we can win more games."
Mhango joined the Clever Boys in the off-season after a brief stint at Golden Arrows last term followed a spell at Bloemfontein Celtic.
