Amakhosi netted the equaliser a minute into the second stanza, after Grobler's brace had put the Pretoria out 2-1 up in the first half.
Grobler, who has been out for a long period of time due to injury was asked whether he was disappointed with conceding two goals.
“I think so, we don’t want to concede goals at home, unfortunately we have. We came in the second half and we weren’t switched on. It’s something we pride ourselves with; in critical phases being sharp and ready," Grobler told SuperSport TV.
“But we weren’t. I think it was beautiful game all round to the supporters. They want to see goals and I think we have set it nicely for next week [in the second leg].”
The striker was injured during the end of the 2017-2018 season, but says he is grateful to be back.
“It feels great. It has been a slow road getting back [from injury]. It’s always difficult for a striker to get your first goal. I was very happy to have helped the team and got the goals."
