It is back to a stadium where Orlando Pirates enjoyed cup final success only two seasons ago, with the PSL having announced the venue and other details for their MTN8 final against Stellenbosch FC.
In a live draw made on Wednesday, it was confirmed that Mbombela Stadium in Mpumalanga would host this year's MTN8 final.
This was the venue when Pirates beat Mamelodi Sundowns to the Nedbank Cup title on 1 June 2024 as Relebohile Mofokeng stepped up from the bench to score the winner in a 2-1 last-gasp victory.

The League also revealed that the match will be played on Saturday, 13 September.
Kick-off time is 18:00.
The final will be a repeat of last year's edition in which the Soweto giants faced Steve Barker's men, albeit at Moses Mabhida Stadium down in Durban.
That encounter ended in a 3-1 scoreline in favour of Pirates, sealing a record-breaking third consecutive MTN8 title.
For the men from the Winelands, the 2025/26 edition marks another chance to lift the cup competition for the first time in the club's history. Having missed out on the last one, Barker has recently spoken about hoping for no controversies.
"It’s not about redemption. All I hope is that the game doesn’t end up being decided by a controversial moment either way for either team, and it’s just a fair contest," Barker told SuperSportTV after his charges saw off Sekhukhune United in the semi-finals.

While Pirates have ruled over the MTN8 with an iron fist over the last three seasons, this will be a first cup final bite of the cherry for new head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou.
He will be acutely aware that a win on the day will go a long way in certifying his credentials as the right man at the ' helm and ease some of the concerns still harboured by sections of Pirates supporters.
Pirates will draw confidence from the last time they played a Final at Mbombela Stadium, a Nedbank Cup Final that ended in a 2-1 scoreline in favour of the Buccaneers in June 2024.
