Mamelodi Sundowns' Pitso Mosimane reaction to MTN8 final loss to Bidvest Wits ahead of CAF Champions League decider

Downs were undone by a Daine Klate brace and strike from Eleazar Rodgers at Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on Saturday.

While Mosimane was naturally disappointed with the loss, his prime focus is on the CAF Champions League final with Zamalek in a fortnight.

"You saw it against Zesco, we showing that we are running out of steam a little bit. A little bit in some of occasions, the second balls, but that's not an excuse," says Mosimane.

"I said even before we won against Chippa United, playing against well-rested teams, it's a challenge to lift the team up."

'Jingles' adds: "Sometimes everything happens for a reason. Maybe we win tonight (Saturday) and don't win the Champions League. I will swap that because the MTN8 will come back again every year. The other one comes once in a while. It takes many years to go for it."
