Tuks part ways with backroom staff member?

Pretoria University are understood to have parted ways with a member of the the club's backroom staff. 

Insiders have revealed that technical director, Sammy Troughton has left the Motsepe Foundation Championship side, as part of club's restructuring process. 

The 59-year-old re-joined the club two years ago and was previously guided Pretoria Callies to promotion to the GladAfrica championships during the 2019/20 season.

In a mass exodus, AmaTuks announced the departure of several players including veteran striker Rodney Ramagalela. Other players include Kyle Peters, Blessing Mabasa, Khomotso Masia, Masixolele Nkewana, Sibongakonke Gwaba, Vuyolwethu Dinge, Nhlanhla Zwane, Lungulo Nguse, Siphamandla Ncanana and Tristan Nikitaridis.

Former All Stars coach, Sinethemba Badala has already been linked to take over for the upcoming season.

"Sammy Troughton is no longer part of the team. This is part of restructuring process within the team," a source informed KickOff.

AmaTuks returned back for pre-season training in Tshwane on Monday.
